The institute has launched an early-bird membership offer for 2026, giving both regulars and new members the chance to join at a reduced rate during December.
From Monday 1 December, membership will cost £10 for anyone who signs up during the early-bird period. The offer runs until the end of the month. From 1 January, the standard annual fee of £15 will apply.
We hope the lower price will encourage more people to see what the venue has to offer. Members can use a range of facilities, including two pool tables and a full-size snooker table. Live sport from Sky Sports and TNT Sports is shown on three large screens, making the club a popular spot on busy match days. Regular visitors say the atmosphere stays relaxed and friendly, even when the bar is full.
Members also benefit from discounted entry to live music nights. These events have become a regular feature of the club’s calendar, with performers from the village and surrounding areas. Weekend shows often draw large crowds and have helped build a strong local following.
The early-bird offer forms part of a wider effort to keep the club active and welcoming. The venue remains a key part of village life, hosting social events, fundraisers, and community gatherings throughout the year.
Anyone interested in joining can sign up at the club from the start of December. The committee says it is keen to welcome new members as it looks ahead to 2026.
