The Annual General Meeting of the Overton Memorial Institute will take place on Thursday 22nd March at 7.30pm in the Lounge Bar.
It is with much regret that I need to inform you that John Connaghan has decided to stand down as Treasurer of the Overton Memorial Institute as of the end of 2017, after many years of dedicated service.
As part of our continuing improvements to the club, the Stute will be closed all day on Tuesday 14th November, to allow a new beer dispensing system to be installed.
Once again, a big thank you to everyone who supported Anita and Julie when they shaved their heads as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s “Brave The Shave”.
A lot has been changing over recent times in the club and we would like to ensure you are kept informed and involved in those changes.

We’re delighted to announce that our recent quiz night for the UK Sepsis Trust was a massive success!
The Stute has a long history of putting on events for the benefit of its members and village residents, however in recent years these events have become less successful and sometimes have run at a loss.
From Friday 8th September, you’ll be seeing double here at the Stute, as we introduce a second pool table!
We’re pleased to announce that we will be allowing dogs into the club from Monday, 28th August.
